The Secretary of State of Canada helped forge the name of Persian Gulf

John, Canada's Secretary of State, during a conversation with the American name of the associative sense of the Persian Gulf to Bay p. d. b. the counterfeiting *. Personal website of Mr. Byrd Part of this lecture such referenced: "I was in many parts of the world; but more auqatem in places like the Gulf, China, paste. '., and South Asia."

This incorrect action by a Canadian government official should definitely be noted. Persian Gulf name in all international correspondence and official discussions The same title is known. Friends who know English or in the same Persian language can respectfully consider this indecent act of the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs in His Facebook page to protest. Please note that we intend to offend Abba and Mr Baird's ancestors or intend cyber trespass (Like the case of Messi and Fernando Lima) We don't have Mr. Baird's relatives.. Merely respectful and friendly protest in civilized human beings. دوستانی که معنای دوستانه و محترمانه را متوجه نمی شوند، لطفا اصلا اعتراض نکنند.

Mr Minister, thanks for remembering the Gulf, but I would’ve been more happy if I had heard it by its real name, the Persian Gulf.If the Gulf is between some Arab countries doesn’t mean it has to be Arab Gulf.infact we should remember that which single country covers the most area of that? Not just that infact we should go back to the history and it always tells us that it has been persian gulf since the first day…I request Mr. Minister to please please say the right name, when next time talking about it….Thanks

    Honorable Mr John Baird,

I am pleased to see that you had a great visit to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to represent Canadians.

As a Canadian tax payer would like to take the opportunity to let you know that I was puzzled to discover that during your published address to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce you called a body of water “the Arabian Gulf”. As an Iranian-Canadian citizen I am well aware that it is the Arab nations, whose countries came to exist not long ago around the Persian Gulf, that have shown a foul interest to rename this ancient body of water.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the name of Persian Gulf is as old as the human history while the oldest Arab country of Persian Gulf region came to exist only 82 years ago (Saudi Arabia). Therefore adopting the forged name of Arabian Gulf in your official meeting while you were representing the great nation of Canada was neither thoughtful nor politically right.

Adopting the name of American Gulf in lieu of the Mexican Gulf would be as meaningless.

For the record here is the link to parts of your remarks during this visit:

“I’m told I’ve travelled one million kilometres since becoming foreign minister two and a half, going on three, years ago. In that time, I’ve been to every region of the world, but I have put in the most time in places such as the Arabian Gulf, China and Southeast Asia.”

    Sincerely yours,

    Dr. Ashkan Tahmasebi PharmD
